A bedroom fit for a Time Lord: Dr Who fan spends £980 building a TARDIS in his parents' garden
A massive Doctor Who fan has turned his bedroom into a TARDIS.
Australian JP Fox, 20, is so dedicated to the BBC television series that he replicated the inside of the Tardis in his room.
He built the structure, which cost $1,500 (£980), in the garden of his family's home.
The TARDIS, or Time and Relative Dimension in Space, is the Doctor's vehicle and home that can take him to any place and any time.

Mr Fox, from Queensland, said: 'I've always been creative and enjoyed making things, so that was the drive.
'But it started when I wanted to make some parody videos of Doctor Who and was just going to make the Tardis console out of cardboard until my project companions got excited and my plans got a lot bigger.
'I then thought, heck I may as well go all out.
'I was uncertain at first but then found that I had all the structural materials and tools because my dad is a builder.
'I also had the skills I needed because I had done carpentry for a year when I was 18, an array of vintage parts free for my taking from the factory I worked at, and then time, of all things.
'It was so uncanny how everything fell into place and before I knew it, a masterpiece was coming together before me.
He said a great deal of his time was spent rummaging through thrift shops, garbage tips and hardware stores.
Mr Fox said the innovative project took lots of 'drawings and math and many long nights involving mad laughter.'

Mr Fox said the fractal floor took three weeks to paint and as it neared completion he painted for 16 hours straight.
'Altogether, the cost for me was about $1,500 but I got all the wood, screws, and vintage controls for free.
'My family love it and often brag about having a Tardis in the house.
