Asset Management Superintendent

Our client, a leading cruise company in the South of England, are looking for a qualified engineer to join their team as Asset Management Superintendent. This role offers a competitive package, is largely UK based and may involve some travel.

As Asset Management Superintendent, you will work within the Asset Management department. Your responsibilities will include identifying areas requiring change and business risk areas, working across various departments to determine improvement strategies, building long term maintenance plans, and ensuring that action required is undertaken in an timely and efficient manner, and kept to budget and company standards.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Educated to Degree level (or equivalent) in engineering / marine engineering
• Asset Management understanding / experience / qualifications
• Cruise ship experience is an advantage
• Significant management/leadership skills
• Risk Management qualifications (desirable)
• Strong organisation, delegation and interpersonal skills
• Full understanding of Flag State, USCG and IMO rules
• IT Literate
• Shore based experience would be a great advantage.
