Something happened today that made me feel so passionate that I needed to make a video. In my world, with thousands of things I HAVE to take care of, allocating thirty minutes to this particular meeting simply did not make sense—ON PAPER. Even my assistant Nate made a face when I made sure this time was set aside on my schedule because he also knew, on paper, it didn’t make sense.

I have no interest in making the most money in the world (even though I do want to be the biggest business man in the world). I have an interest in having the most people at my funeral. When you are a businessperson living by that motto, you have a chance to achieve both.

Doing the right thing is never wrong. Setting aside the time for this meeting, while not the best use of my time on paper, was the right thing to do and, therefore, was exactly the right use of my time. Even though something seems un-scalable, fighting to make it scalable is the difference between success and failure.
