How Amenify’s Professional Cleaning Services Works-

1. Pick your level of service: Standard or Deep Clean

With several levels of cleaning services, from hotel-style, surface-focused cleaning to comprehensive deep cleaning, Amenify supports residents through the various stages of apartment living.

2. Decide when to start service and how frequently

Subscription options include monthly, twice monthly, and weekly cleaning. You can also purchase one-time cleans.

3. Prep your apartment

Clear away as many personal belongings from countertops and floors as possible. Put trash and recycling in containers. Safely secure pets.

4. Relax

Leave the details to us and we’ll make sure it gets done, with our support team available 7 days a week.

 FAQs

  • While Amenify will often send the same cleaner repeatedly to apartment communities when the resident ratings are good, it cannot commit to sending the same cleaner to your apartment for a couple of reasons. First, the schedule of an individual cleaner may vary based on the day(s) of the week and/or times of the day. Additionally, the number of units to be cleaned at each location/community varies week-to-week and this may require schedule changes to complete all cleanings effectively.

  • You do not need to be home for Amenify to service your apartment. In many cases, Amenify has a relationship with the community such that we are able to get the keys from property management for units scheduled for service.

    In other cases, Amenify will need instructions from you regarding how to access your unit. Common options include providing a passcode for your door or leaving your key somewhere accessible, such as under a doormat, in a lockbox, or with an immediate neighbor. In these situations, you can often add those instructions via the Amenify App or respond to a message (text or email) asking for that information.

  • The pricing for apartment cleanings can be found in the Amenify App when selecting the type of cleaning. The actual price is determined by a number of factors, including the number of bathrooms, the number of bedrooms, frequency of service (one-time or subscription), day of service (if it’s Amenify Day/Cadence Day at your community or not), and location.

  • Our Trusted Pros take precautions to keep accidents from happening during your service. We do recommend putting away or securing any valuables or items of sentimental importance before your cleaning service. If there should be any issues during your clean and an item is damaged or broken, our Trusted Pros will report it and we will contact you as soon as possible. Of course, if you should find any issues after your clean, please contact the Amenify Concierge team by emailing concierge@amenify.com or by texting 719-767-1963.

  • Our Trusted Pros are onsite to clean during your community's leasing office business hours, which are typically between 9am - 5pm or 10am - 6pm. You can normally find your community's leasing office business hours on your community's website.

    We do not provide specific appointment times as the flexibility allows our Trusted Pros to be more efficient and enables Amenify to offer you prices 50-60% below market rates. We currently are unable to honor special requests for an estimated time of arrival.

  • We have lots of information here about what Amenify does, and it is also important to share a little about what the cleaners do not do. First and foremost, the cleaners can only perform the work scheduled in advance. Amenify is structured to support apartment life and provide standardized cleaning services at an affordable price. As a result, we do not operate as a maid service with a customized list of tasks.

    The focus of Amenify’s cleaning services are kitchen, bathroom(s), floors, and high-traffic areas. Additionally, Amenify offers a number of add-on options, many of which are cleaning activities only performed once in a while.

    Examples of cleaning tasks not offered by Amenify at present include:

    - Closets / Pantries (organizing and/or cleaning)

    - Fans (dusting)

    - Hazardous Waste / Chemicals (clean up or disposal)

    - Outside of Windows

    - Top of Refrigerator

  • Cleaning times vary based on a few factors, including the size of your unit, the type of clean purchased, the level of cleanliness upon arrival, and the number of cleaners on site.

  • Your community has a specific day of the week (Monday through Friday), called an Amenify Day or Cadence Day, on which Amenify services are available to be booked at discounted rates. By dedicating our Trusted Pros on this one day of the week, we produce added efficiency and can offer you prices 50-60% below market rates! To maintain these efficiencies, we currently do not offer specific time slots for cleans. All cleans take place during your community’s regular office hours, typically 9am-5pm or 10am-6pm local time.

    At most communities, it is also an option to book Amenify services on the non-Amenify (Cadence) days for the normal (non-discounted) rates. This allows you to choose the day of the week that works best for your schedule.

    Cleans must be booked at least two (2) business days in advance of the service day. If the next Amenify Day is not available to select in the app, that means that it is past the booking deadline or all available services at your community have already been booked.

  • An Amenify Deep Clean, where our Trusted Pros perform a detailed and thorough clean, includes the following items:

  • After each service, residents are prompted to provide a rating and review. Amenify uses this information along with direct feedback to the Concierge Team (Amenify customer service) to give feedback to the Trusted Pros and the service provider companies.

  • Yes, tips can be added via the Amenify App. Alternatively, Residents can provide tips to the Trusted Pros by giving cash at the time of service.

  • Yes, in addition to pre-appointment messaging re-confirming a scheduled service, you will be notified when your cleaning or chore service is complete. Notifications are dependent on your designated preference - you will receive an e-mail, text, and/or push notification via the Amenify App.

  • Amenify asks that you safely secure your pets. Otherwise, the cleaners may have to leave your unit before your cleaning is complete. As a pet parent, you best know how your pet behaves around strangers, and please remember that everyone's comfort with pets varies. Additionally, the need for securing a pet is likely far more important if you are not at home during the time of service. Examples of securing your dog(s) or cat(s) may include putting him or her in a cage, bathroom, or in a specific room, such as a bedroom.

  • Add-Ons are extra services that can be added to Amenify’s Standard Clean for additional fees. The Add-Ons can be selected while booking a Standard Clean, or can be added after booking as long as it is before the cutoff time (48 hours prior to your cleaning appointment).
