Aside from the swimming pool, other carriages have been decorated to represent a sport.

The carriages went into operation on July 10 and each carriage provides additional knowledge about the sport, according to the Department of Information and Tourism in Taiwan.

The carriages can be found on the city's Green Line.

This year's Universiade is being held in Taipei from August 19. 170 countries are set to compete.

The city's government hopes that awareness of the Universiade will be boosted by people taking snaps of the carriages.

Already, the carriages have caused quite the stir with people donning swimsuits to pose for pictures on the floor of the swimming pool train.

One passenger was even pictured with an inflatable, sitting on the floor which has a 3D ripple effect.

Other carriages include themes such as running tracks, soccer, baseball, basketball, and track and field.
