ReCYCLE for Kids Giveaway Event

On July 29, more than two hundred local youth will receive their ticket to ride at the ReCYCLE for Kids Giveaway Event. Thanks to volunteers like you, kids will take home bikes, helmets, training and other tools to keep them safe on the road. 

Volunteer roles include: 
- Helping a child “shop" for the correctly sized bicycle
- Helmet fitting 
- Leading children in interactive safety training 

Comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes are recommended. Snacks and water will be provided. No experience required -- volunteer leaders will be onsite to assist you! 

About ReCYCLE for Kids

YOU GIVE:: Hands On Nashville collected gently-used kids’ bikes.

WE FIX:: Volunteers refurbished bicycles at The Oasis Center Bike Workshop.

KIDS RIDE:: Young people from select Metro Parks Community Centers will join Hands On Nashville volunteers to receive a bicycle, new helmet, lock, safety training and more at the ReCYCLE for Kids Bike Giveaway Event!
