A modest two-bedroom brick house with ocean views has sold for a whopping $4.4 million in an auction that lasted for 11 minutes last week.
The property was sold on Tuesday in an auction attended by 50 people consisting of both local and foreign buyers.
The house was sold for the first time in 65 years.

The 20 Wentworth Street home in Dover Heights which comes with two bathrooms and car parks was sold by real estate agent Bradfield Clearly based in Double Bay, New South Wales.
Bradfield Cleary director Georgia Cleary told Daily Mail Australia that the house has been on the market since June 9.
She said that it had gone over the reserve price by $410,000.
The property comes with uninterrupted views to the city's skyline at the front and vast ocean views at the rear.
Set on a block of approximately 448 sq metres, the house comes equipped with a pool, living and dining room, a sunroom and a family room.
Both its queen-sized bedrooms come with a built-in wardrobe.

The Dover Heights property was among the five notable home sales recorded in the country for the previous weekend, Nine News reports.
Core Logic in a press release said the number of homes taken to auction in the country has fallen for the 4th week in a row.
There was just 1,612 auctions held throughout the country last week, down from 1,766 previous week.
However, the property research company noted that last week's clearance rate was higher than what was recorded in the same period in 2016 which was 1,391 properties going under the hammer.
