Pack the Essentials
When you’re heading out to your final walkthrough of your potential future home, make sure to bring these essentials along with you:
- Your real estate agent to guide you along the way and answer any questions
- Your contract and inspection summary to verify your terms are being met
- Pen and notepad to write down anything you don’t want to forget
- Camera to document any repairs or damages
- Your cell phone with its charger to test electrical outlets
- Inspect the Condition of Each Room
Even if you’ve already explored your home, you want to walk through the house in its entirety again during your final walkthrough. You should have already gone through the professional inspection process by this point, but you still want to verify that all appropriate repairs have been made and that there isn’t any new damage.
