Addressing her home, she said: 'In England, we live in boxes that you pay millions for... so when I got to LA, I was like, "My god, everything is huge." I just wanted the house to feel like I’m on holiday.'

'There are no goblets, but there are some wine glasses,' she joked in reference to her Game of Thrones role.

Prior to Game of Thrones, she had starred in a series of movies and has enjoyed lead roles in films such as 300, alongside Gerard Butler, and The Brothers Grimm, but it was her addition to the HBO series that saw her shoot to prominence.

The starlet reportedly became one of the highest paid actors on television in 2017 - earning £2million per episode during seasons seven and eight of the show.

And putting her fame to good use, Lena chose to raise awareness of mental health, speaking candidly about her own struggles with anxiety and depression publicly on Twitter in April earlier this year.

The acting talent was prompted to speak out about her own experiences after a fan asked her if she ever feels insecure.

She responded: 'I overthink for sure. I am familiar with depression. I get HUGE anxiety. Insecure, not really.'

Lena then followed up her tweet with a series of further posts that read: 'Anxiety is a beast. You have to talk to beasts. Release them back into the wild. Easier said than done I know but still. Good to Practice.'

She explained why she thought mental health struggles had become more widespread, while reassuring her fans about her own well-being, as she continued: 'Anxiety. Depression. It's real and it's chemical. It's also spiritual... stay with me everyone (and before you ask, yes I'm ok).

'Globally, we see constant destruction of human lives. Which, no matter your belief, has an effect.

'If we scale it back to family and community, it's been lost to greed and aspiration, no wonder we have anxiety, no wonder we overthink... We're slammed with b******t.'

She then linked her anxiety to feelings of 'not being enough', but was quick to add: 'You are enough... in fact, you're who you're meant to be which is BEAUTIFUL.

'Let's REMEMBER that. Don't be afraid to let someone really SEE you. Magic happens when you are vulnerable and truthful and HUMAN.'

Her tweets had garnered thousands of likes and re-tweets, with many feeling inclined to share their own tales of anxiety and depression in reply.

Lean, meanwhile, had previously spoken about her battle against depression, telling More magazine that she hasn't struggled with the condition in a long time.

'I think some people’s brains are just wired that way if you’re a thinker. People who never get anxious always amaze me,' she said.

'The world could be breaking up and they’re saying, "Everything’s fine!" Getting older and having kids, you learn how to become less serious about it all.'
