HV Design Engineer - Essex

Recognised as a fast-growing and brilliant company to work for, this ICP is engaged in the design and construction of HV connections to the power distribution network. As a result of continued growth, they are expanding their design team and would love to hear from Electrical Engineers with a background in the design of HV networks. 

As 11kV / 33kV Design Engineer you will:

Design 11kV and 33kV new connections

Liaise with other engineering disciplines, including civil design and construction, local authorities, Distribution Network Operators (DNOs), Highways Agency

Ensure new connections designs comply with company and industry standards as well as the client brief

Carry out site visits

Requirements:

Previous experience as an Electrical Design Engineer, working on either DNO or ICP projects

Degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering

Experience using AutoCAD

Experience of tenders and quotations for HV projects
