August 2017 Cover Revealed – E3 Hot 50
During the annual Electronic Entertainment Expo, news announcements happen in the blink of an eye all week long. It can be hard to catch every new detail about your favorite console, publisher, and developer, which is why every year we dedicate dozens of pages to recapping everything you need to know about E3.
Now a Game Informer tradition, we kick off the coverage issuing our yearly grades to Microsoft, Nintendo, and Sony. Then we transition to breaking down all the most compelling teaser trailers coming out of the show, the biggest being BioWare's new shared world shooter Anthem, Beyond Good and Evil 2, and Metro Exodus. Then we move into our ranking of the hottest games of E3, starting with our 2017 E3 game of the show Super Mario Odyssey and moving through the most promising titles coming to consoles and handhelds in the next couple years.
We loved the covers he made last year, so once again we commissioned the talented Alex Griendling to create our Hot 50 cover.
