Fade of the Day – Samurai S003JP Yamato (27 Months, 1 Wash, 1 Soak)

The Southeast Asian fade train just won’t stop. The brakes have been cut, sparks are flying and it would seem only Keanu Reeves can slow it down. We’re not complaining though, as we have another pair of beautiful jeans to admire for this edition of Fade Of The Day, and this time it’s some Samurai Jeans S003JP Yamatos, worn by Supanon Thwithonsetiyr, of Thailand.

Supanon has been wearing these Samurais for just over two years now, and tells us these fades come from hard work in his garage and riding motorcyles. The results are some killer fades throughout, from the whiskers to the insane honeycombs which have twisted around to the knee and the outseam.

Rocking the jeans and sandal steez with no turn-ups has left Supanon with some interesting patina—having such epic stacking has meant the stack fades are further up the leg than usual, and the sandals have actually bust through the denim. Its cool though, some solid repairs and these Samurais will have plenty more life.
