They include all the latest security and software updates

The Respins SIG team, which produces regular updated live ISO images of the latest stable Fedora Linux operating system release, announced today the availability of yet another set of updated Fedora 25 Live ISO respins.

Powered by the Linux 4.10.16-200 kernel, these new, updated Fedora 25 Live ISO images are a bit special because they're released during the Memorial week, but other than that, they contain the same security and software updates that have been released in the main Fedora 25 repositories up until May 23, 2017.

These builds come three weeks after our previous report this month, and as usual, they are created using the livemedia-creator tool, which is available for installation from the default Fedora 25 Linux repositories for those wanting to build their own Fedora Live respins. For that, the Respins SIG team provides users with an in-depth tutorial and necessary scripts.

"This round will be noticeably missing from it’s usual GPG clearsigned CHECKSUM|HASHSUM files hosted on https://community.ameridea.net due to a key cycling operation," reads today's announcement. "This post will be updated with the new KeyID|Fingerprint next week however."

Will save you up to 800 MB of updates when installing Fedora 25

The new set of updated Fedora 25 Live respins come in the usual GNOME (Workstation), KDE Plasma, LXDE, MATE, Cinnamon, Xfce, and SoaS (Sugar on a Stick) flavors, and they promise to save you up to 800 MB of updates that you would normally have to download after a fresh Fedora 25 installation.

A DVD containing only source packages is also available, and you can download them all or only the one you need to deploy the Fedora 25 Linux operating system on new computers without having to download hundreds of updates after the installation right now from http://tinyurl.com/live-respins2.
