OVERLOOK: Katherine Manthorne on Landscapes Across the Americas
Katherine Manthorne, Ph.D., professor at CUNY Graduate Center and specialist in landscape art, will discuss Frederic Church and her book, Traveler Artists: Landscapes of Latin America from the Colección Patricia Phelps de Cisneros. Illustrated lecture in the Wagon House Education Center followed by Q&A and an abridged tour of the exhibition OVERLOOK . Refreshments will be served. To register click here.

Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday Guided tours of the historic 250-acre landscape includes far-reaching 360-degree views. It combines facts about Frederic Church and his large-scale naturalistic design of Olana, as well as recent efforts to restore Olana's landscape and protect its viewshed.
