For some, it might take a couple practice runs through two or three pairs of jeans to really get a feel for the raw denim routine. Others grab one pair and lock it down, and that’s exactly what Heddels reader Michael Migliore of Sacramento, CA, did with this pair of Unbranded UB121 that clock in today at a whopping three and a half years of wear!
The thing about Michael is that he didn’t start his fade journey with just any old pair of raw denim jeans, he dove head first into the game and grabbed a pair of 21 oz. jeans out of the gate. The UB121 proved to be a solid choice, as he has damn near beat the indigo clean out of them after all of this time. Aside from the lightened cast, these jeans check all the marks on the list of noteworthy fades and then some, flexing some whiskers that are close to being faded completely away, knee and thigh fades, and, of course, nicely stacked honeycombs and train tracks, which lead down to some solid roping at the bottom hems.
These jeans have gone from daily go-tos to work beaters, and so far, aside from one crotch repair because of wear from cycling, they’re holding up well for their age.
