What is Detroit Diesel Diagnostic Link software?

It's a computer program used to diagnose Detroit and Freightliner Cascadia vehicle systems. The DDDL 8.19 enables you to perform all dealer-level diagnostic functions, such as DPF regens, turbo tests, and hundreds more. The most suitable diagnostic adapter is the Nexiq USB Link. The program can be used without an Internet connection. Instead of waiting for a package, you can download the program from our website server. Installation and activation take 15-30 minutes, depending on your Internet connection speed.

Important Notice! Recently, we have received numerous complaints about DDDL and Microsoft Surface laptops. Please note that these laptops are NOT supported, and DDDL software won't work correctly.

Since version 8.19 (including Troubleshooting database 04.2024) is a 64-bit release, DDDL supports only Windows 10 64-bit.

When you purchase DDDL 8.18 software from our site, you'll be given an activation key to continue the setup process. After purchasing DDDL, you will receive the installation & activation guide. The Detroit Diesel Diagnostic software essentially provides you with three distinct applications.

- DDDL v8.xx is for 2007 & newer engines (DDEC VI & newer).
- DDDL v6.xx is for 2006 & older engines.
- DDEC Reports is for all Detroit Truck engines for trip & lifetime reporting.

DDDL 8.19 SP0 (replaces DDDL 8.13, 8.14) supports DDEC 6 through GHG17 engine platforms. There are two editions of DiagnosticLink. 
The standard edition replaces DDDL 7.x. The professional edition replaces DDRS 7.x. To cover legacy engines, we also included  DiagnosticLink legacy tools (DRS 6.30 and DDDL 6.51) that are Windows 10 64-bit compatible.
Detroit Diesel DiagnosticLink 8.17 SP1 Professional provides ECU information, diagnostic fault codes, instrumentation information, service routines, the ability to run system tests, edit ECU parameters, and the ability to reprogram engine controllers. The legacy tools DDDL 6.x and DRS 6.x are included; however, these tools may not work properly with the most recent Windows 10 releases.

Please take into account that Remote activation via Teamviewer is recommended. Otherwise, we cannot guarantee that the software will work as it should.
The license period is limited to 1 year. However, we can renew it for another year, after this period, free of charge.

Optionally, we can add DD Backdoor password KG to the package. (Program Parameters - > Configure Passwords -> Device eg. CPC2 ->..)
