  1. So before we start. Who here has advanced Boolean Search skills? Who here has advanced Recruiting Skills? Who remembers their first placement?
  2. Traditional: 1. Take a job description that was generated yrs ago and in legal/corporate speak, post it verbatim on a job board(s) / website, wait for applications to flood in (cough cough) 2. Screen through every CV/Resume using key word and in built biases – discard those who don’t look right 3. Conduct behavioural interviews u on 3 or 4 (maybe) 4. Pick the best one or one who is disliked the least or… 5. Repeat and moan/complain
  3. Each platform uses potentially a different algorithm – so keywords and keyword variables (synonyms) are very important – the platforms know the relationships – remember people enter the keywords in – you just need to find the ones they use.
  4. Personal Brand has taken over from Corporate / Company Brand. People buy from people Now is the time to build ‘Brand You’
  5. Grammarly: Crystalknows: helps you communicate based on personality as you browse the web. Next we take a quick look at the new LinkedIN – who likes it?
  6. When you x-ray, don’t ignore what is in front of you – Any Country, Any time All results can be adjusted and help refine x-ray results.
  7. Alternative way of x-ray search. 3 Steps, 1=google search for subject area and kaggle came out top so… 2=review several profiles to see what data points are common …. 3=using site: run an x-ray with site + “common data point” + “common data point” + repeat until you get to your ideal target number.
