The Knights of Columbus Council donates $52k to The Kitchen, Inc.

For the 22nd year, the local Knights of Columbus councils sponsored the “Knights Striking Out for The Kitchen” bowl-a-thon. Over 350 individuals participated in the fundraising event held at Enterprise Park, Sunshine and Lighthouse Lanes in Springfield and Century Lanes in Nixa. This year's effort raised a total of more than $52,000.

The Kitchen provides assistance to the many homeless and disadvantaged individuals and families in the community. Each year the need for food, shelter, clothing, rent and utility assistance increases. The Kitchen provides these services and others at no cost to those in need.

Every dollar raised from the bowl-a-thon goes directly to The Kitchen because the Knights of Columbus generously cover the costs to host and plan the event.
