Getting your best brows is no easy feat. From grooming options (like threading, waxing, and tweezing) to the best products for shaping them (brow, gel, pomade, or pencil?), there are a host of options when it comes to getting power arches like Cara Delevingne’s. But, as Reddit user casualoranges recently realized, there are some tools we definitely don’t recommend putting anywhere near your eyebrows.
Casualoranges posted his dilemma to the aptly named Reddit thread “Today, I Fucked Up.”
“I've always had bushy eyebrows,” he explained. “Every month or so since I've trimmed them down to 5mm. […] I recently purchased a new beard trimmer - it's really rather good - but unlike my old one, it only has even numbers.” After selecting 0.4mm for his beard line, he wavered on the best number for his brows, finally settling on 0.6mm. Unfortunately, in a brief lapse of judgment, he accidentally selected 6mm instead, leading to some very unexpected results.
“I now have 1 eyebrow :),” he wrote — although to be fair, it’s more like a brow-and-a-tenth. “Hmm.” Consider it a friendly reminder to pay attention to those decimal points.
