Kyle Kennedy identified as inmate who received suicide note from Hernandez

Kyle Kennedy was reportedly the last person to see Aaron Hernandez alive before he allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself in his jail cell.

Luther Vandross was outed as gay after his death.

Kyle Kennedy was reportedly the last person to see Aaron Hernandez alive before he allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself by the bedsheets in his jail cell.

On Monday, Kennedy’s lawyer, Larry Army Jr., confirmed that one of the suicide notes that Hernandez penned before his death was written to Kennedy, a 22-year-old who was convicted of armed robbery. At some point, Kennedy had been placed on suicide watch, though Army said that this was no longer the case.

According to WBZ-TV, Hernandez not only wrote a note to Kennedy before his death but also gave him gifts, including a $50,000 watch.

However, Army would not comment on the nature of the relationship that existed between Hernandez and Kennedy.

There have been several reports and rumors suggesting that Hernandez had a gay lover while he was in prison and suggesting that he wrote one of his suicide notes to said lover, but Hernandez’s lawyer, Jose Baez, has vehemently denied these claims, telling TMZ that the “rumors of letters to a gay lover, in or out of prison, are false.”

Earlier this month, Hernandez shocked many when he reportedly took his own life a mere five days after he was found not guilty in the 2012 double murder of Daniel de Abreu and Safiro Furtado.
