Saying Hello To The Community Here At Steemit...

First off I wanted to say hello to everyone now that I finally discovered this platform. I think it is absolutely amazing what can be accomplished here and it's potential!

My name is Richard and I run a website with content that I will be sharing and adding-to using the Steemit platform. I mainly focus on finding opportunities to earn extra money for the person who needs additional income on the side (So basically finding and sharing methods for side-gigs).

I have been earning extra money using various methods online and offline for a few years. From running blog sites dedicated to different niches such as daily fantasy sports, photography, and now extra income opportunities. I hope I can share some of this information through my articles and posts. I try to make them useful for the beginners because that is my target audience.

I am a Nurse Practitioner by trade but love technology and tech platforms for also making side income. I run my websites with a friend and another family member (my nephew). We just love doing this even if it may not produce much. We hope in the long run it will though.

 XtraMoney.co was created to serve several purposes. First and foremost we wanted to have a website which highlights extra income opportunities for the average person. We will try to focus on options with lower barriers to entry in terms of financial investment whenever possible.

Many of the opportunities we will highlight or discuss will actually only require time and persistence as opposed to lots of money. Oftentimes some good options do require some financial investment up front so we will not ignore those either. The world and the Internet is a big place, there is no reason not to share the information we have acquired for the benefit of others. It's not taking anything out of our pockets to share what we know.

Using This Site As A Case Study

Another reason the site was created was to act as its own case study, showing how you can earn extra money from the ideas and actions we talk about on our website. We will discuss income we earn as a result of this site to chronicle successes and failures that we encounter. Hopefully it serves as an inspiration to those who want to do something similar but have just failed to act because they worry they won't succeed or maybe just don't know where to start. 

What we are looking for are extra income opportunities so even a failure should not break the bank. We are not advising people to quit their jobs in order to take on these opportunities full-time, although with the right amount of success a person might be able to do just that. Look for our status updates and reports on how successful or not we are in earning extra income through our own personal case study from methods discussed. We will post these regularly and keep you informed. 

Why Would You Want To Follow The Information We Are Providing?

Although we are not Internet millionaires by any means, not even close, we do earn extra income currently from projects we have started using some of the methods we have already discussed through our articles. These are all methods which we do on the side as a hobby outside of our regular jobs. 

Almost all of it is semi-passive composed of just a few hours of work a month to keep it running. These Internet side projects are the results of two niche websites which we operate that have been generating about $25,000 a year. A few other side gigs bring in about another $30,000 a year which is not Internet-based. 

While most people would not quit their day job from this amount of money, and we don't, many people would jump at the opportunity to earn an extra $55,000 a year without having to work a separate full-time job. But we are also like you, and we will continue to learn and try new ideas to hopefully allow us to break the cycle of the 9-to-5 world.
