THET management response to DFID HPS Evaluation Synthesis Report
The evaluation highlighted the success of the scheme, from the contribution HPS projects have made to strengthening health systems, to volunteer’s experience leading to bring-back benefits for the NHS. 
Our response speaks to the recommendations for future activities and the actions we will take to ensure these are met. 
 
THET Spotlight: UK cervical cancer awareness week
22nd-28th January 
As part of the Nottingham-Kathmandu Partnership managed by THET, dedicated cervical and breast cancer screening camps take place five-times a year throughout Nepal, running over five-days and reaching over 1000 patients. In the last three years alone over 50,000 women have been screened as part of the 'see and treat' initiative.

Digital tools building the future of global health?
In December, Marta, our Senior Partnerships Manager, travelled to Maryland in the US to attend the third annual Global Digital Health Forum, a platform focusing on digital and connected health in low and middle income countries, sharing lessons on what works and what doesn’t in technology for development.  To read Marta’s full blog please click here
