While it's true that spring scents tend to fall into the very specific categories of fruity, fresh, or floral, the following five have managed to differentiate themselves in their own unique ways. From top notes of bergamot and pear to base notes of musk and honey, these brands have created something entirely their own. We can tell you one thing: these fragrances will be hard to part with once fall comes around!

  1. Elizabeth Arden White Tea: Soft and pure, this fragrance leaves a subtle sea breeze surrounding the wearer. Perfect for daily use, and with a price tag by which that's made possible, White Tea is a crisp blend of green florals and, as one could assume, white-tea extract. We like to imagine ourselves walking the waterfront enveloped in a warm blanket and, of course, this clean scent. ($49)

  2. L'Occitane Terre De Lumière: With an aroma as warm as its sunny bottle, Terre De Lumière is both striking and delicate. It takes inspiration from the Golden Hour, tapping into notes of lavender, honey, and almond from the brand's place of origin—the South of France. The vessel and fragrance are in equal part liquid gold, as they directly mimic the setting sun in Provence. ($98)

  3. Kenzo Flower by Kenzo: This ultra-feminine fragrance is made even better by the bottle—a tall, slender, and slightly bent vessel made to mimic the delicate poppy decal along its front. The blend itself is rooted in Bulgarian rose and jasmine, yet tied together with notes of bergamot and white musk. Think: a glass of rosé in the early evening with good company and light conversation. Does it get much better than that? ($112)

  4. Byredo La Sélection Nomade: Why have just one when you can have all three? One of Byredo's ''newest'' releases is really not so new at all. Rather, it's an opportunity to experience several of the brands most beloved scents: Bal d'Afrique, Gypsy Water, and Blanche. All three fragrances are unique blends of fruits and florals for you to test and to travel with time and time again. ($110)

  5. Bond No. 9 Nolita Swarovski Limited Edition: We could let the bottle speak for itself. We could also let the fragrance speak for itself. But, honestly, where would that leave us? Like all from Bond No. 9, the eponymous Nolita is mastered from the minute details of the New York City neighborhood, from the people to the bars the the museums. The bottle is as bold as the fragrance, with Pop art, crystal kisses across the front, and a ruby-red cap. Citrus and sandalwood twist together to create a scent as sensual as its vessel and as unexpected as the tube of lipstick it comes with. ($385)
