The latest overnight closures of the M3 have been announced, to allow Highways England ’s smart motorway project to continue.

The M3 will be closed in both directions between junction 2 at the M25 and junction 4a at Farnborough between 8pm and 5.30am from Tuesday (April 18) for three nights.

A Highways England has advised that a clearly-signed diversion will be in place for drivers between junction 13 of the M25 and junction 4a of the M3, via the A30 and A327.

There will be further disruption when the M25’s clockwise link roads to the M3 southbound and northbound are closed this weekend.

Both link roads will be closed from 9pm on Friday (April 21) until 5.30am on Monday, April 24.

A diversion will be in place to access the M3 southbound by leaving the M25 at junction 10 ( Wisley ) and following the A3, A31 and A331 to rejoin the M3 at junction 4 ( Camberley ).

A diversion will be in place for traffic to access the M3 northbound via junction 13 of the M25 at Staines .
