Google Chrome might be the world’s most popular browser but it is missing this must-have WhatsApp feature.

Rival software Opera, has just rolled out a major update which now includes Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp and Telegram icons within the browser.

This allows users to access these apps with one simple click.

After you log in to the social sites, there are two ways of using this feature: you can open it in overlay or pin it side-by-side with your current tab. Pinning a communicator allows you to combine online chatting with a full browsing experience.

You can also decide which of the messengers to enable in your sidebar by selecting them under ‘Customise start page.’

Opera Neon, was originally released in January 2017, and was an experimental browser that envisions the future of web browsers.

One of its novelties is the ability to seamlessly hop between discovering new content and chatting with friends, or even share online discoveries while browsing.

Inspired by Neon, the team at Opera decided to bring those seamless transitions between chat and discoveries to its latest browser.

The result is Opera Reborn, complete with integrated popular messengers so you can keep chatting with friends without skipping a beat.

In a post on the firm’s blog they state: “Social messengers completely changed our lives, by allowing us to work, discover new things and communicate at the same time.

“This shift has come with smartphones, but desktops and laptops, while theoretically more powerful multitasking tools, have been left behind.

Along with this new social media feature, Opera also brings ad blocker improvements.

Opera now automatically reloads a page when toggling ad blocking on or off for that page. It’s especially useful if you want to quickly flip the switch, and it gives you much more control and comfort while browsing with ad blocker.

to its popular browser.

The latest version of Google Chrome is designed to make the app less resource-intensive by throttling background tabs that are using excessive power.

According to the official Chromium blog, background tabs account for a third of Google Chrome's power usage on computers.

Keeping them in check should dramatically reduce the impact on your computer.

Google also just pushed-out a new update for its hugely-successful web browser, .

The latest update to Google Chrome patches an issue that could allow hackers to trick millions into handing over their bank account details.

With a 57 per cent market share, Google Chrome is comfortably the world's most popular internet browser.

Unfortunately, that makes it a substantial target for hackers and cyber criminals.

Earlier this month, it was revealed that Google Chrome had a dangerous vulnerability that made phishing attacks "almost impossible to detect".

The known vulnerability allows hackers to display fake domain names in the URL address bar – like Apple, Google, or Amazon – on their own fraudulent websites.
