KINNECT Awarded Contract for Health Surveillance Services by Gladstone Regional Council

KINNECT today announced that the company has been awarded a new contract by Gladstone Regional Council for the provision of Health Surveillance Services.

As an employer of greater than 700 personnel, the Gladstone Regional Council in recent years have established themselves as a leader in occupational health and safety culture. KINNECT have worked closely with the Gladstone Regional Council  since 2014 and was recently re-awarded a 3 year extension for Pre-Employment Medical Services and re-awarded a 3 year extension for Onsite Physiotherapy Services.

The newly awarded contract will commence in April and will run for up to 3 years. KINNECT will provide the Gladstone Regional Council with a range of Health Surveillance / Monitoring services including Hazardous chemical medicals, audiometric health monitoring, biological health monitoring and respirator fit testing.

As part of this new contract, KINNECT will use its Health Surveillance / Monitoring platform, Carelever, to store data, track monitoring requirements and manage the entire Gladstone Regional Council’s workforce health surveillance program. Using CloudHealth, the Gladstone Regional Council will be able to:

• Book a Health Surveillance Assessment for an employee anywhere in Australia or New Zealand
• Store the health data for each employee
• Compare the latest results against previous tests or baseline test
• Identify employees who are showing a change in health and are at increased risk of occupational related injury/illness
• Notification for the next periodic health surveillance test (e.g. 6 months, 12 months or 2 years)
