Taco Tuesday: It’s Always Time for Fish Tacos in Seattle

Tacos are a perfect happy hour food, and when they’re stuffed with fresh fish and complimentary ingredients, these flavorful little guys become crave-worthy! Here are some great spots around the city to bite into fresh fish tacos...

Happy Hour: Sunday through Thursday, 3 - 6 p.m.

With a menu burgeoning with tasty bites and delicious entrees, Six Seven is a great spot for happy hour! Although their Wagyu Beef Sliders, Tempura Asparagus Fries and other happy hour snacks are definitely must-try’s, you simply cannot skip the Spicy Tuna Tacos. Made with fresh raw tuna and avocado, these scrumptious tacos are topped with a garnish of arugula and drizzled with a spicy sriracha aioli for even more of a flavor burst.

Happy Hour: Daily, 3:30 until 6 p.m.

Tacos are $4 each for Happy Hour at Agave Cocina & Tequilas, or you can order grilled or crispy halibut fish tacos from the dinner menu for a bit more. They’re worth it! The Grilled Halibut tacos are seasoned with chimichurri, while the Crispy Halibut tacos are made with Mexican beer-battered fish. Both are topped with aioli, slaw, avocado and salsa fresca.

Happy Hour: Weekdays 3 - 6 p.m., Weekends 3 - 5 p.m.

The Spicy Ahi Tacos at Cactus are full of fresh ingredients and that means… quality flavor! The restaurants fill the crispy corn taco shell with spicy Baja “poke”, red onion, smoked fresno aioli, and avocado. If you’re looking for a cooked fish option, the Tacos Pescado from the dinner menu are made with crispy fried market fresh fish, coriander–pasilla slaw, pico de gallo, and drizzled with buttermilk crema.

Happy Hour: Monday through Thursday, 3 - 6 p.m.

Visit Doc’s Marina Grill on Bainbridge Island for an excellent year-round happy hour on weeknights. You will definitely want to dig into the casual eatery’s Ahi Tuna Tacos. The fried and crispy wonton taco shells are filled to overflowing with fresh sushi-grade Ahi tuna tartare, light and flavorful Asian coleslaw, and cilantro, then plated in a swirl of sriracha crème fraîche for dipping.

Look beyond the oysters (although those are delicious too) when dining at Flying Fish for happy hour and other meals! Fresh fish tacos are a tasty treat at this South Lake Union eatery, with a mixture of three different kinds of fish, pico de gallo, and cilantro cream on corn tortillas. The dinner version also has pickled onions and guacamole.
