YELLOWFIN TUNA
Seacore is proud to offer to our customers the highest quality Yellowfin Tuna aka Ahi Tuna available. Not only is our Highly touted Housecut Certified Tuna premium quality, it is also caught by artisanal fisherman from the Philippines the proper way: single hook, handline caught. The tuna is sourced from a Fisheries Improvement Project run by Artesmar in the Philippines. It provides full traceability for every single piece of tuna caught. Seacore flies the tuna in as whole, headless fish and we then cut the tuna loins fresh to order. We find this is the absolute best way to maintain the sushi quality our customers have come accustomed to. Also, this tuna is NEVER treated in any type of oxygen or CO treatment. It remains exactly the way nature intended it to, chemical free yielding the best taste possible. It is Ocean Wise Recommended and Seacore flies it in mulitple times a week to maintain it's freshness.
