The brownie mix dessert included in the Banquet breaded chicken nugget meal trays may be contaminated with Salmonella.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service issued a public health alert on Thursday, which affects 110, 817 pounds of frozen meals.

The alert includes the breaded chicken nugget, macaroni and cheese and chocolate brownie meal tray produced on Jan., 26, 2017 and shipped nationwide:

7.4 oz. vacuum-packed trays containing “BANQUET Chicken Nuggets with Mac & Cheese” with Code 3100080921 and a “BEST IF USED BY” date of July 20, 2018

There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to the consumption of the frozen meals so far, and the FSIS said they issued the public health alert "out of an abundance of caution."

Consumers with questions about the health alert should call 800-289-6014 or 312-549-5522.
