DOWNTOWN CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - A judge in federal court has ordered local televangelist Ernest Angley to pay $388,507.90 in unpaid wages to 239 employees at Cathedral Buffet.

The U.S. Department of Labor first sued Angley and the buffet in August 2015, saying there were people working at the buffet that weren't being paid. Some employees were paid an hourly wage and volunteers who did the same tasks as those employees were not paid, according to a fact finding report.

The $388,507.90 accounts for back wages and liquidated damages.

Angley is the founder of Grace Cathedral, with locations in Cuyahoga Falls and Akron. Ernest Angley Ministries also owns a television station.

Cathedral Buffet and Banquet Center is located on State Road in Cuyahoga Falls.
