Boil water advisory issued for some in Whiteville

WHITEVILLE, NC (WECT) - The City of Whiteville has issued a boil water advisory after crews repaired a water main break on Pinewood Drive.
Residents living on the following streets will be affected:
- Pinewood Drive
- West Burkhead Street
- Williamson Street
- West Williamson Street west of Stanley Street
- Stanley Street
- Maultsby Drive
- Lester Smith Street
You should boil tap water vigorously for at least one full minute prior to using it for drinking or cooking. This includes water used for brushing teeth, making ice, washing raw foods, preparation of drinks, and water for pets.
The boil advisory will be in effect until further notice.
