There is nothing we love more than collaborating with other creatives in the Twin Cities. I am continuously amazed by all the talent and fantastic energy out there that we get to surround ourselves with, especially in our community right here at home.
A couple of months ago our lovely friends, JKath, approached us with an idea on doing a collaboration. Within five seconds we were immediately on board. Fast forward to a couple of months later, here we are sharing all the fun we had!
We are firm believers that when companies come together with a common goal, they can band together in any number of ways to create influence and do powerful things. And that was the goal of what we were doing right here.

How gorgeous is this space?! JKath and Kipling House were the rockstar team that designed and remodeled this entire home in St. Paul, MN. The before photos are insane. I couldn’t believe that this cozy little kitchen space was once a staircase to the upstairs.
After they had done a total overhaul of the entire home, we rounded up our favorite brands to put together a fun little lifestyle shoot. Our hope for this shoot was to inspire all of you in different ways.
The talented Allison Mathern did the staging in this home. I was in complete awe. She is one talented lady! Furniture and all, Allison said she was there all night loading things in. It’s such a beautiful space, and she rocked it!
And of course a huge shout-out to two of our favorite brands that we love to work with and incorporate into our remodeling projects.
We wanted to create a fun and real setting for the shoot, starting with morning coffee with our girls, something we all love and actually do together.

Seriously, how adorable are our models Jen, Amy, and Amy?! It was such a fun morning! A house full of motivational boss ladies. I wish we could start every day like that. Lifestyle photoshoots have been around for a long time. But instead of traditionally seeing them in magazines and billboard ads, more and more brands are incorporating the style into their marketing.
I love, love lifestyle photography, especially when you work with a team like this. We seriously were all laughing and eating donuts. It’s pretty easy to stage lifestyle photography with gals like these.

And those donuts…let me tell you…Jamie and I are loooooving living in Elk River, MN. My favorite part about it is the adorable main street. It feels like my hometown and makes me so happy. There’s the local morning restaurant, the butcher shop, and the bakery. And these donuts are to die for. So if you live in the area, make sure to swing into the Blue Egg Bakery. And it’s just a few doors down from our office too so if you do, make sure to stop by and say hello!
