Key West home featured in James Bond’s Licence to Kill sells for $5M

The Key West home featured in the James Bond 1989 classic “Licence to Kill” sold recently for $5 million.

Located at 707 South Street in Key West’s Casa Marina neighborhood, the newly renovated 4,214-square-foot residence served as the backdrop for a wedding reception early on in the film, according to IMDB. The movie also included many other South Florida filming locations that we’ll map out in the future.

It has five bedrooms, six bathrooms, a guest house, and is highlighted by a tropical backyard with wrap-around covered verandas, an outdoor dining area, barbecue station, a heated pool, and gardens. Interior features include new white oak floors, mahogany doors, a gorgeous modern kitchen with high-end appliances, and new bathrooms clad in onyx and marble.

Built in 1948, the property was initially asking $5.75 million and previously sold for $1.1 million in 2004 before the dynamic remodeling.
