Surf City swing bridge reopened

SURF CITY, NC (WECT) - The Surf City swing bridge reopened Tuesday morning after it was closed on Monday.

The NC Department of Transportation was conducting maintenance on the bridge around 3:30 p.m. when a part of the bridge broke causing it to malfunction, according to Pender County officials.
