Application for 2017 AVFS Spring/Summer Filmmaking Courses
The Alexander Valley Film Society (AVFS) is proud to present a project-based filmmaking track as part of our newly re-launched educational programming. We will conduct two half-day workshops in April and May that will culminate into a week-long summer intensive program. All courses are open to middle and high school students.

SCREENWRITING - Saturday, April 15th, 10AM-2PM (location TBD). Desired outcome: each student or teams of students to leave with a two-page script.

PRE-PRODUCTION - Saturday, May 13th, 10AM-2PM (location TBD). Desired outcome: each student or teams of students will be prepared to begin shooting/production on their film.

WEEK-LONG INTENSIVE - Monday, June 12th-Friday, June 16th, 9AM-5PM (location TBD). Desired outcome: each student or teams of students will leave with finished short film.

For students to be considered for the filmmaking workshops and summer intensive program, please fill out this application NO LATER THAN MONDAY, April 3rd. Applicants will be notified by Friday, April 7th.
