Man accused of stealing pills in Brunswick County

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WECT) - A man is facing multiple drug charges in Brunswick County after he allegedly stole methadone and oxycodone pills.

David Patrick Holmes, 40, was arrested Thursday by the Brunswick County Sheriff's Office and charged with trafficking opium or heroin, larceny and two counts of possession with the intent to manufacture/sell/deliver a Schedule II controlled substance. He was booked under a $120,000 bond.

According to arrest warrants, Holmes stole 76 methadone pills and 30 oxycodone pills from a woman on March 16.
