Neymar leading the Champions League assist charts

Barcelona get Juve in the last-eight

Which teams do you think will reach the Champions League semi-finals?

Barcelona's outstanding goalscoring record in the 2016/17 Champions League has sent Neymar to the top of the assist leaderboard for the competition so far.

Thumping wins against Celtic, Manchester City, and most recently Paris Saint-Germain have provided the Brazilian ample opportunity to get forward and help leading scorer Lionel Messi.

In providing eight assists, Neymar is two ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo in the rankings and well clear of third placed Ousmane Dembele of Borussia Dortmund, who has four.

Raheem Sterling and Eduardo Salvio can also boast four key contributions but neither have made the quarter-finals, making Andres Iniesta, Luis Suarez, and Christian Pulisic the joint-fourth highest remaining assist makers on three.

It's no surprise that Barcelona talisman Messi leads the scoring charts at this stage, bagging 11 times to stand well clear of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Robert Lewandowski (both seven) and the eliminated Edinson Cavani (eight).

As for the hardest working player in the Champions League this season, Atletico Madrid midfielder Koke has run an unmatched 95,376 metres to stand head and shoulders above second-placed Pizzi of Benfica (90,876m).

Of those competing in the last-eight, Antoine Griezmann (89,385m) and Leicester City's Danny Drinkwater (85,163m) rank as the next highest.
