Woodcroft is located in the southern suburbs of Adelaide, South Australia, with the post code 5162.
Established in the year 1969, located 20 kilometres south of Adelaide’s Central Business District, with a population of around 11, 000.
North of the suburb is Reynell road and to the south is Bains road. There is also the Panalatinga Creek which runs though Woodcroft. Interestingly enough, the suburbs name came from a previous farmhouse built in 1897 called “Woodcroft Farm”, that was owned by the grape cultivator Richard Mostyn Owen.
