A Unique Concert Experience You Won’t Forget
If you’re looking for something different to do this spring, check out Music in the Garden at the Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix. This springtime concert series features a wide variety of talented musicians from all around the country. The lineup is always incredibly diverse, and the setting is out of this world. It’s live entertainment with a more refined vibe.
Plan an Incomparable Evening Out
Whether you make plans with friends or you prefer to enjoy a date night with your significant other, these outdoor concerts will give you hero status. The warm, picturesque, desert ambiance paired with extraordinary performances creates a sophisticated yet relaxed mood. This music series is unlike many other outdoor concerts because it’s an intimate gathering in a truly lovely environment.
Soak Up the Atmosphere
Each concert takes place on the Ullman Terrace, where the backdrop is the spectacular Garden butte. While you’re relaxing under the stars, you’ll also be hugged by the beautiful desert landscape. This is sure to be a special experience for anyone who has never seen the desert at night. It’s a chance to really become one with the natural world around you.
Expand Your Musical Horizons
Each week brings a new, exciting and energy-packed performance to the Terrace, and there is always an array of different styles. From jazz, Latin and blues to contemporary and gospel, the sounds cater to just about any music lover. You can find the exact schedule on the Garden’s website, and it’s always a good idea to purchase tickets in advance.
Explore the Nature Trails
In May and June, concerts begin at 7:30 p.m., but doors open at 6:30. This gives attendees enough time to roam about the garden space. It’s pretty remarkable seeing the cactuses illuminated under the night sky, and springtime brings some stunning blooms to desert plants. As you stroll around the garden, you may encounter some surprises as well. Wildlife is abundant throughout the trails, so be on the lookout.
Enjoy Some Tasty Treats
You cannot bring outside food or drinks, but refreshments and snacks will be available at the Patio Café once the doors are open. You can grab a salad, sandwich or even an ice cream treat before settling down for the show. You can also purchase alcoholic beverages from a special wine and beer station and bring the drink with you to the performance.
Tickets to the Music in the Garden Concert Series cost $30, and entrance to the walking trails is included. If you’re visiting from out of town, Best Western Plus Scottsdale Thunderbird Suites is just few minutes from the Desert Botanical Gardens. You don’t want to miss out on this one-of-a-kind experience. Gather a group of friends or family, plan a couple’s night or go solo; you won’t be sorry.
