Tough flooring

Slip-proof rugs
Rugs can protect your floor from being clawed and stained. Before purchasing one, check if they are slip-proof. Invest in a colourful rug as the colours on it will draw the attention away from dirt, stains and fur.
Avoid breakable knickknacks
When there’s a pet at home, don’t decorate your home with breakable items. An aggressive wag of your dog’s tail or claw of your cat’s paw can send your prized collection crumbling down.
