Madame Tussauds, the world-renowned wax attraction, slated to open its newest location in Nashville on April 14, and cross-genre recording artist Darius Rucker, teamed up to reveal the superstar's unique figure today.

The seasoned superstar debuts his new figure featuring state of the art projection technology.

The first of its kind at any Madame Tussauds worldwide, Rucker's figure features ground breaking interactive projection technology to give guests a personal recounting of the incredible and intricate process behind the making of his Madame Tussauds figure. His figure will have 3-D projection technology where it will appear as Darius is talking to you as he explains the process for creating these work-of-art wax figures, the company said.

The talented team behind Madame Tussauds worked closely with the award winning creative team at Seeper in London, to install a one of a kind interactive experience, which is a first for the 250-year-old brand, according to a spokesman with Madame Tussauds public relations.

The figure features a sculpted 3-D head that allows for a video captured during Rucker's "sitting" to be projected directly on the figure. This interactive technology will give guests the chance to feel as if the real superstar is talking right to them.

To capture every detail for his figure, Rucker sat down with the Madame Tussauds studio artists, and a specialist team from Seeper, to capture the digital assets needed for the projection in Charleston, South Carolina in late 2016. During this time, studio artists and the Madame Tussauds research team took more than 300 measurements of the singer and then proceeded to work with Rucker and his team to ensure an exact likeness. Rucker even donated his figure's attire from the boots up to his signature tee.

"We are extremely thrilled to be unveiling the Darius Rucker figure and experience here at Madame Tussauds Nashville. The fact that we are the first attraction across Madame Tussauds globally to introduce such technology is incredibly exciting." JeanPierre Dansereau, General Manager at Madame Tussauds Nashville said.

"Having my own figure and going through the whole process on this Madame Tussauds journey makes me feel as if I've truly made it to the next level as an artist," Rucker said . "When guests visit the attraction, it will be like I'm really there because of this cool technology. I'm super excited for the fans to come and check this out."

With a completely different concept, the attraction in Nashville will be the company's first offering in the U.S. that focuses solely on music icons that have shaped America's musical landscape. Guests are encouraged to have fun with the famous stars from musical genres such as Country, Rock n Roll, Jazz, Blues and Pop.
