How to Paint Your Angel Candle Holder

  1. Remove the lid from the jar and place the stencil onto the middle of the jar. Press firmly around the edges of your stencil to make sure they're completely sealed.

  2. Apply several layers of the silver paint onto the jar. Make sure to make a nice thick coverage enough so that it is shiny but not too thick where your light will not shine through.

Pro Tip: "When you are approaching your angel stencil while painting be sure to use outward brush strokes when going around the edges of it to keep the stencil from peeling upward or inward." - Tanner Bell

  3. Let this dry.

How to Remove the Stencil from Your Angel Candle Holder

  1. Once the paint has completely dried you are going to want to first outline your stencil using a craft knife. This is to ensure that when you peel your stencil off it will not peel the tape off with it.

  2. Carefully peel off your stencil. Be sure to do this nice and slow so that you do not accidentally tear off any paint.

  3. Use your craft knife to help if the stencil is stuck in any spots so that you can help to unhinge it.

How to Finish Decorating Your Angel Candle Holder

  1. Apply small glue dots around the top of your lid and begin gluing down your rhinestones. You will want to only do about three rhinestones at a time so the glue does not dry before you can place your rhinestone down.

  2. Allow this to dry completely.

  3. Insert a tea candle and screw the lid back onto your mason jar.
