Recognizing a number of impediments that prevent businesses from using legal services proactively, Basha Rubin founded Priori Legal, a marketplace that matches entrepreneurs and in-house counsel with qualified, hand-curated attorneys that suit their particular needs.

Launching Priori Legal with entrepreneurs in mind, Rubin quickly found her company serving in-house counsel as well. While startups often deal with things like formation, intellectual property, and financing, there are other legal hurdles common in businesses in all stages. Uncertainty about where to locate specialized lawyers, for instance, is a widespread issue.
