NHC to sell surplus property in online auction

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WECT) - Everything from vehicles and lawn mowers to filing cabinets and conference tables will be available for auction in April by New Hanover County.

Commissioners recently adopted a resolution declaring certain personal property surplus and authorized it to be sold by electronic public auction.

The miscellaneous items will be sold April 7-April 18 via GovDeals, an online auction service provider.  Registration is required for bidding.

All items are sold "as is," and the acceptable methods of payment are cash, money order, cashier's check and cred card.
