Carl Craig's New 12-Inch Will Feature An Orchestra
The collaboration showcases symphonic renditions of techno classics.
Detroit legend Carl Craig has announced a new LP, Versus, that will feature collaborations with the Parisian orchestra Les Siècles and the classical pianist Francesco Tristano, who previously collaborated with fellow Detroiter Derrick May last year. Craig will arrange and engineer the compositions himself.
Though the full track list has yet to be announced, Versus will include two renditions of Craig’s techno banger “Sandstorms” from the 2004 EP Just Another Day. The complete arrangement will be released on the French label InFiné on May 5.
