I see you've found my Patreon page. I'm humbled that you've come here. Thank you so much for supporting my work!  The world of an author looks much different today than 20 years ago. The funding to market a book is no longer there, even if you are published by a publishing house. Yet, if you are an author with a strong and powerful message, how do you get the word out there? The answer is by shouting from the rooftops, "Read my book! It's great and helpful!" (Me getting carted off to the psych ward after they pry me off the roof.)  With all joking aside, brick and mortar bookshops are closing. :(  (Don't you remember spending many dateless nights perusing the Border's books, Barnes &amp; Noble or your local bookshop getting lost in bliss?)  Without a venue supporting books, authors don't have a place to do book signings and a book talk. (Do you feel my tears and pain?)  Unless an author has funding to spread the word about her book, it just becomes lost in a sea of millions of books on Amazon.
