A new wave of style, started with a country that has much more to offer than Demna Gvasalia’s talent. Designed by Rusadze in 2015, Situationist is known for its Vetements- aesthetic inspired, but also for the elegance of the most sophisticated forms, combined with consistent use of basic colors.

Situationist stands out for having introduced a touch of national pride in its DNA, through the T-shirt printed with the Georgian flag, presented on the catwalk for spring / summer 2017 that immediately became an object of cult among the community of influencers International, by Yuwei Zhangzou (yuyufashionbook. com) Alyssa Coscarelli of Alyssainthecity, until the top model Bella Hadid.

The brand has jumped to the honors of half the world record, just when the supermodel has chosen to wear the Situationist leaders in the streets of Paris during fashion week in January. The rebellious nature of the Situationist collections comes from the international group it got its name from. Strong in the soul from the subversive silhouettes characterize the look with a punk flair, in Sex Pistols style, a fashion against the political and cultural oppression, which does not accept control and conformity, whose slogan is, “creating extraordinary moments in everyday life”.

The Situationists were a group of international social rebels formed in the late 1950s who were influenced by Dadaism, surrealism, and Marxism. The group consisted mainly of artists, intellectuals, and political philosophers.
