4MLinux developer Zbigniew Konojacki informs Softpedia today about the availability of the 4MRescueKit 21.0 system rescue and recovery Live CD for those who have donated money to his project.

Being based on the upcoming 4MLinux 21.0 operating system, 4MRescueKit 21.0 incorporates the latest versions of the developer's other Live CD projects, including Antivirus Live CD 21.0-0.99.2, 4MRecover 21.0, 4MParted 21.0, and BakAndImgCD 21.0, but it's available exclusively to donors.

"4MRescueKit provides its users with software for antivirus protection, data backup, disk partitioning, and data recovery. It is distributed in the form of a multiboot CD, which includes four (extremely small) operating systems. This release has Antivirus Live CD 21.0-0.99.2, BakAndImgCD 21.0, 4MParted 21.0, and 4MRecover 21.0," reads the release announcement.

Most of the included Live CDs are also based on the forthcoming 4MLinux 21.0 operating system, but each one ships with its own improvements. For example, 4MParted 21.0 comes with the Gparted 0.26.1 open-source partition editor, 4MRecover 21.0 adds TestDisk 7.0 and PhotoRec 7.0 data recovery utilities, and Antivirus Live CD 21.0-0.99.2 is built around the ClamAV 0.99.2 antivirus software.

On the other hand, BakAndImgCD 21.0 is based on 4MLinux Backup Scripts 21.0. If you donated money to the 4MLinux project, you are eligible to download the 4MRescueKit 21.0 ISO image right now from the official forums. In the meantime, the developer works hard to promote the 4MLinux 21.0 operating system to the stable channel, which should happen sometime next month.
