Abel Brown
NVIDIA Solutions Architectect

Abel Brown is a senior solutions architect with NVIDIA, where he helps customers and partners develop GPU-accelerated analytics applications to solve defense and national security problems, with a particular focus on deep learning. Prior to joining NVIDIA, Abel led DARPA research on large-scale systems integration and cyber-physical information assurance and was principal engineer for real-time data analytic frameworks deployed in NASA satellite ground systems. He holds a PhD in geophysics from The Ohio State University.

Tim Miller

Tim is the President of the Magma Business Unit at One Stop Systems. Tim’s background includes over 30 years of experience in high tech operations, management, marketing, business development, and sales. Miller previously was the President of Magma, CEO of Dolphin Interconnect Solutions, CEO and founder of StarGen, Inc. and held various management positions at Digital Equipment Corporation.

Robert Stober
Director of Systems Engineering, Bright Computing

Robert Stober is the Director of Systems Engineering for Bright Computing in San Jose, California. Robert specializes in planning and implementing High Performance Computing clusters and has broad experience integrating applications and workload management systems. Prior to joining Bright, Robert was a senior solutions architect at Platform Computing for more than 10 years. He co-authored Platform Universus, a meta-scheduler that leveraged Platform LSF to link computing clusters managed by various workload managers at Sandia locations in California and New Mexico. Robert was the principal author of Platform Computing’s response to the HPCMP and Tri-Labs resource management RFPs.
