And when the Oscar winner encountered a horse Tuesday on-location in New Zealand, she couldn't hold back her enthusiasm.
'Can I keep him?' the actress captioned a photo alongside the gentle creature on Instagram.

For the outing, the Legally Blonde star was dressed in a checked blue and white top tied up to show a hint of her toned belly, and a pair of skinny jeans.
It would be no surprise if the A-lister was wearing one of her own Draper James designs.

In another photo shared with her social media fans on her own account, Reese flashed a wide smile with her 13-year-old co-star Storm Reid. The pair enjoyed a day of gold panning, shopping, and eating ice cream, Storm shared.

For the past week the Wild actress has been exploring the sweeping landscapes of New Zealand with her other co-stars, including Mindy Kaling and Oprah Winfrey. Chris Pine and Zach Galifanakis are also tied to the fantasy film, directed by Ava DuVernay.

The story, adapted from the 1963 Newbery Medal-winning Madeleine L'Engle novel, follows a young girl whose scientist father goes missing after working on a mysterious project that involves traveling through dimensions.
Meanwhile, Reese's new HBO mini-series Big Little Lies debuted over the weekend, featuring another roster of impressive women. Nicole Kidman, Laura Dern, Shailene Woodley and Zoe Kravitz are among her co-stars.
